Video showing one of the magnificent displays of the NAF pilot who died during plane crash in Abuja

A video showing one of the magnificent displays by Late Squadron Leader Baba Ari, the Nigerian Air Force pilot, who died in a F-7Ni aircraft crash in Abuja on Friday is trending online.

He was a Squadron Leader and was one of the three pilots involved in the incident that which happened in Katamkpe Hill at the country’s capital. It was said that captain Baba-Ari ejected from the aircraft, but he later died due to complications from injuries sustained.

Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, disclosed this via a statement. He described the late Baba-Ari as 'a gentleman officer, distinguished pilot, dedicated patriot and irrefutable hero of the war on terror'. Daramola also noted that NAF had instituted an air crash investigation into the incident.
