Nigeria youth international Taiwo Awoniyi have signed for English Premier League side Liverpool

Liverpool have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
The 18-year-old according to report underwent a medical at Anfield before signing a professional contract.
Dutch side Heerenveen are in pole position to take the  Nigeria under-23 striker on loan as Liverpool are having troubles obtaining a work permit for the player.
A loan move would e beneficial for the youngster who currently plays for Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria.
A number of big European clubs were looking for the signature of the striker; according to Metro, Manchester City was interested in the striker before Liverpool snagged him.

Awoniyi was a member of World Cup-winning Golden Eaglets in 2013, and was also a pivotal part of the Flying Eagles that won the U-20 African Cup of Nations in Senegal earlier this year.
The striker was also part of the Flying Eagles team to the last U-20 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
